Sunrise Hotel Policy – General Terms & Conditions

This is a non-exhaustive list of general policies upheld by Sunrise Hotel. Should you require any clarification on terms not stated here, please contact us

The Hotel reserves the right to add to, alter or amend any of the above terms, conditions and rules as and when it deems necessary.

BOOKING POLICIES

Children

Sunrise Hotel allows a child up to 2 years of age to stay for free using the existing bedding. Baby cribs are complimentary upon request and subject to availability. Individuals between 2 to 12 years of age pay only 50% of the standard room fees. Individuals above the age of 12 are considered as adults by the Hotel.

Extra Bed

An extra bed for additional occupants is permitted, and is chargeable from USD 50.00 per night excluding breakfast, unless stated in the specific rate plan. The charge will be automatically included upon selection during reservation.

Requests

All requests entered into the ‘Requests’ box on the Sunrise Hotel website booking engine are subject to availability. Sunrise Hotel bears no responsibility should it be unable to fulfill certain requests.

Room Occupancy

The total number of occupants in a room, including children, shall not exceed the maximum number of occupants permitted for the respective room types:

Standard Room: up to 2 persons
Triple Room: up to 3 persons
Deluxe view & balcony Room: up to 3 persons
Deluxe Family Room with Balcony: up to 4 persons

 

If you have any questions or clarifications regarding Sunrise Hotel's Maximum Occupancy Policy, our staff will be happy to explain in detail. Please also note that Sunrise Hotel reserves the right to refuse entry to any additional guest exceeding the maximum occupancy allowed for that room type.
 

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT POLICIES

Age Requirement

Guests must be 18 years or older with valid photo identification to check in. Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Sunrise Hotel reserves the right to verify photo identification.

Check-In/Check-Out

Unless otherwise stated in the specific rate plan Terms & Conditions, check-in time is after 2 pm/14:00 and check-out time is 12 pm/12:00.  For early arrival before 2 pm/14:00, it is recommended to pre-book your stay one day in advance with a full-day charge. Sunrise Hotel may accommodate a late check-out for an additional fee and subject to room availability.

 

GENERAL POLICIES

Damage to Hotel Property

Sunrise Hotel reserves the right to charge guests the cost for damage caused by their accidental, deliberate, negligent or reckless acts to the Hotel's property and/or structure.

In-Room Safe & Safe Deposit Box

Guests are encouraged to keep their valuables in the In-Room Safe or in the Safe Deposit Box provided at the Front Desk. Sunrise Hotel shall not be liable for the loss of money or other personal valuables during your stay.

Parking

Staying guests are limited to two (2) complimentary parking tickets daily.

Pets

Sunrise Hotel maintains a strict no-pets policy on its premises.

 

Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted on the premises of Sunrise Hotel:

  • Animals of any kind.
  • Flammable, explosive or otherwise hazardous materials.
  • Objects emitting a foul odor.
  • Firearms or other weapons.
  • Objects of an unusually large size or in unusually large quantities.
  • Articles related to use in gambling, smuggling or other illicit acts.
  • Illegal drugs or other articles the possession of which are prohibited by the laws of the city of Bethlehem and the Palestinian National Authority.

Sunrise Hotel reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest found to be in possession of prohibited items. Guests shall be solely liable and responsible for all loss financial or otherwise, and damage that may be caused by such items.

Visitors

In the interest of the safety, security and well-being of guests and staff, all visitors are required to register at the Front Desk, and are requested to stay in the lobby or bar area without prior approval from Sunrise Hotel management.

 

HEALTH & WELLBEING POLICIES

Excessive Noise & Disturbances

T​o ensure all guests enjoy the comfort and safety of the facilities we offer, Sunrise Hotel upholds a strict zero-tolerance policy towards unwarranted disturbances, excessive noise and parties. Any person found to be on our premises creating excessive noise, having a party in guest rooms, exceeding the numbers of permitted guests or otherwise causing a disturbance will be requested to vacate their room and leave Sunrise Hotel without a refund.

Inappropriate Behavior

Should a legitimate and proven complaint regarding any inappropriate action or behavior by a guest towards our staff, other guests or visitors, Sunrise Hotel reserves the right to take action against the guest which may result in, but not limited to, being asked to leave without a refund for any services incurred.

Smoking

The Hotel is 100% non-smoking in rooms and all internal areas. ​Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas of the Hotel. There will be a $200 fee for thorough cleaning services charged to any guest in violation of this policy in order to restore it back to its original condition.

 

PAYMENT POLICIES

Currency & Tax

Rates are in US Dollars but the hotel accepts payments in US Dollars, Euros, the Israeli shekel (NIS) and Jordanian Dinars. The rates are tax-free for foreigners as per the law of the government; however, a 16% tax applies to local guests.

 

Credit Card Pre-Authorization

If you are using your credit card to guarantee your room reservation, Sunrise Hotel may hold an amount on your credit card prior to arrival. For non-refundable bookings, prepayment will be charged to your card prior to your arrival.

 

Deposits, Room Charges & Online Bookings

For online bookings made through the Sunrise Hotel website, a deposit equivalent to the first night room charge shall be deducted from the credit card upon completion of booking unless otherwise stated in individual rate plan terms and conditions. No refund shall be made if a reservation is cancelled or modified within 48 hours prior to the check-in date. No refund shall be made if stay dates overlap from the dates of December 24th to January 1st, and other “high season” selected dates stipulated in the individual rate plan. Unless full length of stay has been prepaid, Sunrise Hotel requires a deposit for remaining room charges upon check-in.

Incidental Charges

For all reservations, Sunrise Hotel requires a deposit for incidental charges upon check-in.  Deposit may be placed in cash or on a credit card at check-in time. For deposit using credit card, pre-authorization by the Hotel is required.

Third-Party Booking Sources

In the case of cancellation or modifications to reservations made through sources other than directly with Sunrise Hotel or its website, Sunrise Hotel recommends that guests first contact their source of booking for assistance before approaching or contacting our staff.
